A beautiful waterfall in Karuizawa, Japan. The waterall is named "Chigadaki" (lit. "A Thousand Waterfalls", perhaps due to the fact that the water branches out into many tiny falls. At 20m, the waterfall is not large at all, but it was cool and lovely in the middle of the forest, surrounded by the brilliant greens of early summer, a joy to photograph! The quote is by the naturalist John Muir (1838-1914). If you'd like a different proverb or saying please send me a message! I'll customize the poster for you for free.
