I took these photos of Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, France: famous western facade with twin towers, north transept rose stained glass interior with candles, and nave vaulting as seen from a back pew. I mirrored, reflected and overlaid the images, added burlap texture and quote from the 1831 gThe Hunchback of Notre-Dameh Victor Hugo novel: gNotre-Dame de Paris is, in particular, a curious specimen...Each face, each stone of the venerable monument, is a page not only of the history of the country, but of the history of science and art as well.h For all fans of Our Lady of Paris, Victor Hugo, Gothic architecture, and the City of Light.
