Description
Stone steps covered in grass and fallen autumn leaves. The random rubble masonry and bamboo fence add to the wabi-sabi look. I took this photo at the forest of Kozan-ji, a Buddhist temple located deep in the mountains and designated a World Heritage Site in Kyoto, Japan. The towering trees make for a very quiet, tranquil place perfect for hiking and meditating. I took the photo in autumn and gave the image a warm, vintage feel.
