Description
A beautiful field of pink and fuchsia cosmos, the light making the petals nearly transparent and glow in the afternoon sun. I took this photo at a park in Yokosuka, Japan on October 2012. Ifm really happy to share it with you! In Japan pink cosmos are called "akizakura" or autumn cherry blossoms, due to their pretty pink tones resembling the sakura or cherry blossoms that come out in Spring. Makes a wonderful gift to anyone who enjoys fields of flowers, pretty petals and soft sunlight.
