It was a gorgeous autumn weekend so we went for a walk in the park to enjoy the colors of fall. We collected some acorns and leaves that fell from the tree, and set up this simple, natural still life scene for photographing. The quote I added "The invariable mark of wisdom is to see the miraculous in the common" is by the American poet Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803-1882). In our busy lives we often miss the beauty of the little things around us, so I thought this would be a good reminder for everyone, ourselves included.
