I took these photos of Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, France: famous western facade with twin towers, north transept rose stained glass interior with candles, and nave vaulting as seen from a back pew. I mirrored, reflected and overlaid the images, added burlap texture and quote from the 1831 gThe Hunchback of Notre-Dameh Victor Hugo novel: gNotre-Dame de Paris is, in particular, a curious specimen...Each face, each stone of the venerable monument, is a page not only of the history of the country, but of the history of science and art as well.h For all fans of Our Lady of Paris, Victor Hugo, Gothic architecture, and the City of Light.
