Description
I took these photos of the Golden Gate to the Palace of Versailles in Paris, France. The beautiful royal gate is made of wrought iron and gold leaf, with shapes of crowns, masks of Apollo, fleur de lys, cornucopias and the crossed capital L's representing the Sun King, Louis XIV. I mirrored, reflected, layered the images then overlaid with antique paper and heavy canvas texture for a vintage look. Versailles is ALWAYS a good idea! For all who love the venerable palace, Paris, France and impressive craftsmanship.
