Artist's Description
A view of the vermillion-hued wooden roof of the Chumon or Central Gate of Todai-ji, a Buddhist temple in Nara and designated a World Heritage Site. The woodwork details show the craftsmanship of the carpenters of ancient times. I added textures and filters for a vintage, painterly look.
